Crimson Holiday opens in La Cumbre Plaza, offering Local Art!

Visit us in La Cumbre PlazaThe Holidays are just around the corner, and Marilyn Dannehower of MAD Dreams Jewelry Design and Bridal Crystal Direct has taken it upon herself to re-open  the local artist gallery ‘Crimson Holiday’ in La Cumbre Plaza, Santa Barbara.

Setting up shop in the old ‘Coach’ location across from Louis Vuitton in a prime retail zone is really a blessing.  With things like shelving and lighting left behind by it’s former occupants, it’s made moving in a relative breeze.

Marilyn has assembled a unique group of local Santa Barbara Artists and Designers under the umbrella of ‘Crimson Holiday’ to provide just what La Cumbre Mall needs… a little grass-roots flavor!

Crimson Holiday opened its doors on November 1st and will remain open through the end of the year. The store features the work of 23 area artists, including 8 primary artists.

The Goodland Gallery, Goleta has a NEW location!

The Goodland Gallery, Goleta has a NEW location!

The Goodland Gallery is Open!Aside from the move, the Goodland Gallery has a whole NEW LOOK, and is OPEN FOR BUSINESS! The Gallery remains in the Camino Real Marketplace, on the ‘Best Buy’ side of the shopping center, near Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.

The new address is: 7066 Marketplace Drive, Goleta.

Owner/Manager Shelly Lenox has put alot of time and effort to maintain a place for local Artisans, and it’s in Camino Real where she has established a foothold… and home.

The location is a about half-the size, but there is little missing… she along with a handful of great helpers, have hammered and squeezed everything into place. It’s quite an accomplishment, and a feast for the eyes!

You’ll find the pottery of Terramonary, accessories by Chira Designs, and Garden of Gaia-Danae Michele, jewelry by Hester Van Digglen, James Cleland and many others.

Additionally, there will be give-aways and drawings to celebrate, and Shelly is the first to step up to the plate. She will be giving the first 20 Customers to mention this Blog a pair of her own fused-glass earrings. How cool is that?!

Down the road… November 5th marks the 3rd Anniversery for the Goodland Gallery, and to celebrate the date, and the Grand-Opening of the NEW  Location near Santa Barbara Bank & Trust in Goleta, festivities are in order! I’ll post the details as they come available.

Thanks Santa Barbara/Goleta for supporting local Artists!
